From May to September, midday outdoor temperatures exceed 40°C. Your home pool–especially with shade–remains usable for early morning or evening lessons when public facilities may be crowded.

Driving across Dubai to reach a swimming academy adds 30–60 minutes each way. That's time your child could spend in the pool, not stuck in a car.
Building Coordination
If you have an apartment pool, check with building management about private instruction. Most buildings allow it during off-peak hours or with advance notice.
Pool Temperature
Most Dubai pools are comfortable year-round. Heated pools are common in newer villas and apartments. Winter months (December–February) may require pool heating.

Home Swimming Lessons FAQ
Does my home pool qualify for swimming lessons in Dubai?
Most private pools in Dubai villas and apartments work. A pool around 4m × 3m with a depth of 1m–1.8m is ideal, but smaller and shallower pools are fine for young children and beginners. We just need clear access and clean, filtered water. Not sure? Send us a photo and we confirm suitability within 24 hours.
Can you teach in an apartment building's shared pool?
Yes. We teach in shared building pools across Dubai – Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, JBR, JLT, JVC, Downtown, Business Bay and more. Check with your building management first, as most allow private instruction during off-peak hours or with advance notice.
Is the instructor's equipment included, or do I need to provide anything?
The instructor brings all necessary teaching equipment to every lesson. You only need a swimsuit and towel for the swimmer. There is nothing to buy or set up in advance.
Can lessons happen during Dubai's hot summer months?
Yes. From May to September we schedule early-morning or evening lessons when temperatures are comfortable, and a shaded home pool stays usable when public facilities are crowded. Most Dubai pools are comfortable year-round; winter months may simply benefit from pool heating.
