1. Who We Are

ProFit Swimming ("we", "our", "us") provides private swimming lessons at home pools across Dubai, UAE. Our website is www.profitswimming.ae. For any privacy questions, contact us at info@profitswimming.ae.

2. Information We Collect

When you submit an enquiry or book a lesson, we collect:

• Name and contact details (phone number, email address)
• Location in Dubai (community or area)
• Swimming experience level and service requirements
• Language preference
• Page URL from which you submitted the form

Technical usage data (browser type, device type, pages visited, referral source) is collected only through the analytics described in section 6: anonymous first-party statistics unless you decline, and Google Analytics or Yandex Metrika only if you accept. Independently of that choice, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (which include IP addresses) to serve and secure the site.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange swimming lessons
• To send booking confirmations and session reminders
• To improve our services and website experience
• To understand which Dubai areas and services are most in demand

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.

4. Data Storage and Security

Enquiry data is stored and processed by Supabase, a third-party processor with its own security programme, and connections to it use TLS. Resend processes the enquiry details needed to deliver the notification email to our team. We keep enquiry data only for as long as we need it to answer the enquiry and to run any lessons that follow. We are documenting exact retention periods and the deletion procedure and will state them here once they are verified; until then we do not promise a fixed retention period. You can ask us to delete your enquiry data at any time (section 7).

5. WhatsApp Communication

If you contact us via WhatsApp, your messages are governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy (Meta Platforms). We use WhatsApp Business solely to respond to lesson enquiries.

6. Analytics

There are two kinds of analytics on this site, and the consent banner treats them differently.

Anonymous first-party usage statistics run unless you decline. They set no cookies, go only to our own database (hosted for us by Supabase, the processor named in section 4), are never shared with advertising or analytics companies, and contain no name, contact detail or account identifier. Each event contains: a random per-tab session identifier (not linked to you and reset when the tab closes); the event name (page view, scroll depth, CTA or WhatsApp click position, form field focused or abandoned — never the field's value); the page route only (never a query string; an unknown URL is recorded as "/other"); the referring site's host name; campaign parameters from the URL you arrived on (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content and advertising click identifiers such as gclid or fbclid); your browser's user-agent string; device class, viewport size, interface language and reduced-motion preference; and whether you had accepted analytics at the time. Choosing "Decline" in the banner or in "Privacy settings" stops them; so does a browser that sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, which we treat as a "no" without asking.

Everything else waits for "Accept analytics". Before that choice no third-party analytics or advertising script is loaded and nothing is stored in your browser beyond the tab: no Google Analytics 4, no Yandex Metrika, no concierge transcript mirroring, no third-party images (Google review photos are shown as neutral initials), and no first-touch campaign record that outlives the tab. With your consent, Google Analytics 4 and Yandex Metrika receive page views with the page route only and set their own cookies; the campaign parameters above are kept in your browser for up to 90 days so a later booking can be attributed to the campaign that brought you; when you submit the booking form, the request itself (name, phone, area, preferred time) is stored so we can answer you and is linked to that session identifier; the AI concierge mirrors a redacted transcript that records only whether contact details were provided, never the details themselves; and Google reviewer photos are loaded from Google's servers.

Your choice is stored in your browser only (a single local key), "Decline" is remembered on later visits, and you can change it at any time under "Privacy settings" in the footer of every page and on the landing page.

Video testimonials are YouTube embeds that load only when you press play; until then no request is made to YouTube. Once you press play, YouTube (Google) processes your data under its own privacy policy.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection law (including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection), you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time: Google Analytics and Yandex Metrika run only after you choose "Accept analytics" in the consent banner; the anonymous first-party statistics stop when you choose "Decline"; and "Privacy settings" in the footer lets you withdraw or change either choice at any time

8. Children's Privacy

We provide swimming lessons for children but we collect personal data only from the parent or guardian who submits an enquiry. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under the age of 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
